Affordable and location
it wasn't what we expected, having said that it was just fine. Really dated we said to ourselves "if only these old walls could talk, the tales they could tell" The main st. bars and restaurants were fun. Would never recommend the restaurant just a few steps from the hotel I think it was then Lock View or something like that down right nasty. I enjoyed spending a couple of hours watching the works of then locks. Very interesting to us.
Location. Great for walking around. Quintessential up north motel. I like that kind of charm.
Due to my wife’s medical condition the staff upgraded us to a bungalow with fireplace (electric) for a10.00 charge. Exceptional service and friendliness

Motel plus cottages. We stayed in spacious cottage, nothing lacking. Clean comfortable beds, easy parking right in front, walk downtown and to the lockes park. Nice breakfast, ample coffee.
Young day manager was excellent. She was able to book us into our room for a second night without moving. The staff was very friendly. Clean and updated rooms.

The property was perfectly located smack dab in the middle of amazing food and shopping and right across the street from the locks.

Wonderful pet friendly facility. The room was small but worked perfectly for our family and our dog. Prices were fair considering it was a holiday weekend stay. $30.00 non-refundable pet fee is normal. Continental breakfast was nice and included biscuits and gravy. Location right across from the locks was perfect.
It was cute style, but it was dirty. Footprint on the bathroom wall, dead bugs on the floor. Trash and dog food on the floor.
Very dirty and rude counter staff. Bathroom had poop smeared on the bath room wall and old boogers in the shower
